Adobe Creative Cloud October 2014 is a major release in that it allows you to make your desktop much more mobile. Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC, Premiere Pro, and After Effects include new Touch support for Microsoft Windows 8 and Surface Pro 3, and there are nine new mobile apps that let you take Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and Premiere on the road.
What’s New with Adobe Creative Cloud October 2014
• Creative Identity means that whereever you go, you will have access to your assets. You can have your files, photos, colors, brushes, graphics etc. right at your fingertips. And they move from app to app and device to device wherever you go.
• Touch workspace now gives you the ability to use Touch on Windows 8 devices for design applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Photoshop Sketch lets you draw using the new built-in expressive brushes. This gives you a tightly integrated workflow between Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC.

• Photoshop Mix provides compositing abilities on your iPhone or iPad and has enhanced integration with Photoshop CC. You can select portions of your image to remove or combine with another image. You can also enhance and share your image.
• Lightroom Mobile adds to the mobile workflow by allowing clients, family, and friends to comment on images as well as to leave comments for photos shared online.
• Illustrator Draw (formerly Adobe Ideas) now lets you take your vector drawing tools with you. Featuring an updated, more streamlined interface, it comes with integration with Illustrator CC as well as enhanced support for Adobe Ink and Slide.
• Illustrator Line (formerly Adobe Line) is a precision drawing application that lets you distribute shapes as you draw. You also can send sketches to Illustrator CC or Photoshop CC where you will have full access to the original vector paths for editing.
• Premiere Clip is a new member of the Premiere family in a mobile app that lets you transform video shot on an iPhone or iPad making it simple to edit and share. You can then send your composition to Adobe Premiere Pro CC for advanced finishing.

• Adobe Brush CC is a new app that allows you to create brushes on your iPad or iPhone. Because any photograph can be used to create a brush, you have an unlimited range in which to create.
• Adobe Shape CC lets you capture and create shapes on an iPad or iPhone. You can take a high-contrast image of anything, such as a pet, a drawing, or a font, and convert it into vector art that can be imported and used in Adobe Illustrator.

• Adobe Color CC (formerly Adobe Kuler) gives you the ability to capture colors and save them as themes that can be used in Adobe applications including Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC.
• Creative Cloud Market is a set of curated content that is high-quality and freely accessible to Creative Cloud members. There are literally thousands of professionally created files that include user interfaces, icons, brushes, and patterns that will help you create both desktop and mobile apps.
• Creative Cloud Libraries is an asset management service that gives you the ability to create with colors, brushes, text styles, and vector images through the Creative Cloud desktop, mobile apps, and services. This connects tools like Photoshop and Illustrator to each other as well as to their mobile apps.

• Creative Cloud Extract reinvents the Photoshop comp-to-code workflow for web designers and developers. This lets you share and use vital design items from a PSD file when coding mobile and desktop designs.
• Creative Talent Search connects creatives with job opportunities around the globe. Hiring managers can use Talent Search to find the right talent for a particular task. Through the use of custom algorithms, the more a recruiter uses the system, the smarter and more accurate it becomes in finding the right fit.
The big key to this update is mobile computing. The ability to take your designs and design abilities on the road and off your desktop is becoming increasingly important and this update to Creative Cloud gives you much more freedom to do that. The additions to Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro are designed to allow you creative freedom on the road. When you get back to your desktop, everything is there waiting for you to fine-tune.
